A magna cum laude graduate of the University of Washington, with law degrees from Berkeley Law and Seattle University School of Law, as well as a Master of Science degree from the University of Oxford, I’m an attorney who specializes in data privacy, cybersecurity, and civil rights. My interest in data privacy and cybersecurity has led me to obtain the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), and the Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US) certifications. I was a Visiting Scholar at Dartmouth College where my research focused on U.S. surveillance, privacy law, civil rights, and emerging technologies. I have worked in both the public and private sectors as an Attorney, Consultant, and Analyst. During my tenure at Deloitte, I advised Pfizer, Abbot, Chase Bank, and spent 1.5 years with a single team at Google. I specialize in designing and building cybersecurity and privacy audit programs, implementing new or already existing applications to increase cybersecurity capabilities, data privacy and cybersecurity law compliance, and both technical and legal incident response.
