Heading up the IT team at Nikwax and Paramo.Our IT area breaks down into an IT Services team, a Database & Programming team and a Development team. The programming team develop in house applications, business reports and look after the company databases. The development team work on longer term projects with the aim of using IT to drive the businesses forward.And the Services team, who deal with the day to day running of IT. Their role is to ensure our infrastructure is secure, reliable and speedy. Responsible for the servers, communications, provision of e-mail, internet, security, antivirus, backups and support for our end users.We're based in East Sussex, but also have a number of remote areas to oversee. These being our offices in Seattle, Central Europe and our retail stores selling Paramo clothing.

• Small business offering PC support, tuition and various other IT services• On-call to attend PC repairs/upgrades at customer’s homes or premises• Contracts have included CAD work for Marshall Tufflex, consultancy for Alfa Electric and a number of web sites for local businesses.• Cat 5 LAN installations performed – both cabling and Windows network software set-up

• Responsible for the company’s LAN, computer upgrades and technical support • Project Manager for works covering both the Test Department and Electrical Installation Departments. Including installation works at the Millenium Dome and ExCel Centre • CAD design, electronic schematics and electrical layouts. Assisting in the development and testing of new products. Projects included Marconi Avionics, Philips DAP
