As an Antiterrorism Officer at Camp Humphreys, I led comprehensive security initiatives to protect U.S. personnel, assets, and interests at the largest U.S. military installations overseas. In this role, I was asked to be the Interim Deputy Commander for the 51st Security Forces Squadron, I managed daily security and law enforcement operations for over 380 USAF personnel, enhancing the 51st Fighter Wing’s security posture through strategic leadership and collaboration with the Korean National Police, USFK, and PACAF.Accomplishments: • Defense Plan Overhaul: Led a comprehensive rewrite of the 51st Fighter Wing’s Integrated Defense Plan, meeting USFK and DoD requirements, improving base defense, and strengthening partnerships with the Korean National Police. • Access Control Enhancement: Directed a COVID-19-compliant changeover of 7,000 Restricted Area Badges, resolving a five-year compliance issue and strengthening access control measures. • Counter-Drone Strategy: Integrated multiple counter-drone systems to establish a layered defense against UAV threats, boosting the 51st Fighter Wing’s security capabilities. • Joint Training Program: Initiated the first joint training plan between Security Forces and the Korean National Police, enhancing coordinated response capabilities. • Operational Efficiency: Restructured the supervisory hierarchy for 6 U.S. and 15 Korean Government Service employees, improving timekeeping accuracy and streamlining appraisals. I was responsible for providing high quality, long term investment options to prospects/clients. I also maintained my own business practices by establishing a work flow of daily critical activities, administrative duties, and contact management.I joined Edward Jones just as I was coming out of the military and transitioning to a civilian career. The most challenging thing in this job was how easy it is to get stuck in your chair, straightening you pencils instead of going out and keeping a high level of activity.I did pass my Series 7 and Series 66 with them and met multiple performance and participation milestones in my short time there.

I served on the Commanding Generals staff as his personal crime and criminal analyst. I was responsible for making law enforcement recommendations that affected all US Army soldiers in South Korea.This was a very intense job and at times required very long hours. The coordination of all the departments involved was very difficult. I learned very quickly how to speak "attorney", "medical", and "investigator", so that I could compile all information into a single, cohesive report for presentation to the Commanding General.After building an excel database that contained 10 years of historical crime and criminal data I was able to narrow down the day, time frame, and general area of where sex crimes where being committed by soldiers. This lead to proactive policing and command intervention that resulted in a 40% decrease in sex crime across all Army units in South Korea in two years. After my tour was complete in Korea we saw a 5 year low in all soldier related crime.

This was a really fun job. I was part of a security force that maintained the security and access control of a nuclear power plant.This job required a lot of external preparation on my part. The qualifications and certifications requried for employment were very strict and your paycheck depended on your ability to perform. this meant that I had to spend time outside of work shooting, maintaining physical fitness, and reviewing industry documents and trends.As the honor graduate from my training class, and due to my previous experience,I was specifically sought out by upper management to address various security related issues. However, after the plant was bought out and scheduled to be decommissioned, I was one of the lowest in seniority and fell victim to the downsizing efforts.

What an honor to have served the Office of the President of the United States. I staffed, scheduled, and maintained a security force of 53 military police directly responsible for the safeguarding of Marine One and all its assets.This job had an absolutely crazy schedule and was very fluid based on the current political events that would arise. When Senator Kennedy passed away in 2009 I saw the breaking news come out that evening. I immediately went to work and began mission planning, shortly thereafter we left and did not return for a few weeks.Through out my time in the Marines I have had the privilege of working some amazing jobs and meeting some amazing people. I was instructor of the quarter at the School of Infantry. I have traveled to Iraq and help stabilize a crumbling infrastructure by assisting in the protection of power plant construction efforts. I have also worked with the FBI, NCIS, Secret Service, and The DEA.
