I am currently a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Department of Surgery at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI). My research focuses on identifying biomarkers and therapeutic targets for Homologous Recombination Deficiency in breast cancer brain metastasis. I completed my PhD in the Department of Surgery at Trinity College Dublin (2018-2022), where my research centered on the role of microRNAs in altering drug and radiation resistance in pancreatic cancer. Prior to that, I earned an MSc in the Molecular Pathology of Cancer (2017-2018) and a BSc (Hons) in Biomedical Science (2014-2017) from Queen's University Belfast.I am committed to advancing our understanding of cancer biology and improving therapeutic strategies through rigorous research and collaboration.
