I was the band director at Sabine Middle School in Liberty City, TX for two school years. In my capacity as band director, I was responsible for teaching 6th - 8th grade band classes, and assisting the high school band director.

I completed my student teaching assignment at Henderson in the fall of 1999 as a contract employee, and transitioned into a full teaching position. My duties were assisting at both the middle school and high school level, teaching beginning band, sectionals, and lessons.
