Responsible for the preparation and oversight of the periodic and year-to-date financial reports of the Australian business, ensuring accurate financial accounting and reporting in compliance with Australian and International Accounting Standards.Principle Responsibilities:- Line Managemento Develop and manage Accounts Payable Officer, Admin Assistant, and Assistant Accountant.- Financial Reporting and Analysiso Preparation and distribution of the period’s sales results;o Preparation, analysis and submission of the periodic Global decko Coordinate the quarterly and annual planning and forecasting cycles;o Preparation of the year-end statutory financial reports for the Australian market (inclusive of the Marketing Fund) for external audit and consolidation up to Group level;o Project lead to streamline and implement accounts payable process solutiono Preparation of reacquired rights and goodwill for all acquisitions;o Analyze and advise on business operations including revenue and expenditure trends, financial commitments and future revenues.o Responsible for the maintenance Fixed Asset Registero Ensure all balance sheet accounts are reconciled and signed off on a periodic basis within period-end timeframes deadlines;o Maintenance of financial databases i.e Evolution- Statutory/Taxation Complianceo Responsible for all aspects of our Taxation obligations working in conjunction with our Tax partner;o Ensure BAS (Local and International) compliance is recorded appropriately within the accounts and reported on relevant returns accurately

Responsible for the timely and accurate preparation of Nando’s Australia’s management reporting requirements. This role was also the Finance support to the Business Development and Marketing team.Principle Responsibilities:- Transactional Processingo Prepare and post periodic journals and accruals;o Coordinate GL close and consolidate periodic accounts;o Preparation of periodic balance sheet reconciliations;o Responsible for the Capex and Capital WIP accounting;- Financial Reportingo Finalisation, analysis, and interpretation of Central Support income statements;o Preparation and finalisation of the periodic management, deck and board deck;o Finance support to the Marketing department – inclusive of the preparation of the period-end income statement and rolling forecast;o Preparation and analysis of ROI reporting;o Assist Business Development with financial reporting requirements as required;o Preparation and submission of ABS surveys;o Assist in various projects and detailed analysis of Central Support operations as required and assist management in the review of operating expenses and efficiency;o Assist in the year-end audit process
