Multi-faceted role supporting multiple executive stakeholders. Partnered with the EGM - Field Services in executing the Service Excellence Program which overhauled the delivery of all Field Activities. Later partnered with the EGM – Build to drive Commercial Governance and financial delivery of the multi-billion dollar build portfolio.

The role worked closely with Operations General Managers and Project Managers to drive cost accountability and Governance. As the program pushed through peak build towards program completion risk management and mitigation was a crucial element.

Establishment and ongoing maintenance of the project accounting function for the newly implemented FTTx scale build program. Total Project budget was in excess of $5b over four years.

Management of overall accounting function with multiple direct reports managing the total annual budget of $50m.

Role was with Abigroup Contractors (Acquired by Lendlease) and consolidated the performance of all Southern Region Projects for the Build and Engineering divisions through to Corporate. This included leading monthly project reviews, management of project accruals and allocation of labour costs. It also oversaw accounts payable, cashflow, FBT Management and balance sheet reconciliation for the Region

Initially part of the Risk and Business Process team, my role was to perform internal reviews of projects controls across various Engineering projects which included secondments to TAS and WA. Subsequently was tasked with establishing the newly insourced Fleet division of 700 vehicles. As the Finance Manager my remit was to establish the accounting framework, reporting, CAPEX planning Cashflow management

Financial Accounting within a Corporate Head office for a multi-disciplined Construction Business which offered a suite of complimentary services across a group of companies. Group operations included construction, sales, leasing, business services and telecommunications. The role reported to the CFO with the focus being month-end reporting, reconciliations, and process improvement.
