Therefore, quality management is an essential component of the packhouse process, and adding it to my current responsibility of packing and planning can improve the performance and outcomes of our operations and final products.

This role consist of leading two citrus packing facilities, in the Easter Cape, with a combined throughput capacity of 75 tons per hour with a resource pool of 900+ employees in peak season. This role is also responsible for managing multiple 3rd party citrus packing facilities in both the Eastern- and Western Cape.A dual responsibility of this role is to manage and lead both the production planning from the farms to the packing facilities and the demand & supply planning for all local and export markets.This role performs in a corporate environment with daily communication and working sessions with piers and customers from all across the world.
