I've been in the Financial Services Industry for 17 years now and during my time, I've seen a heap of change, especially within the Financial Advice space. Having seen cancer touch family members and the detrimental effects these traumatic events have, this has further reinforced to me why I'm so passionate about Insurance and the pivotal role Financial Advisers play in ensuring every day Australians and their Families have the appropriate cover. My previous role as a BDM with Zurich provided me exposure and experience to advisers businesses and was a fantastic platform for me to build up my skill set and work toward my most recent role as a State Manager at Synchron Financial Services.Having now been exposed to both the Product Provider and AFSL Worlds, I have a solid level of knowledge and experience that I've built up which I can now put to practice in my current role as a Senior Business Development Manager at PPS Mutual.I continue to remain passionate about assisting advisers with growth strategies and business tips, ensuring my advisers are supported and equipped with various business tools I'm privy to, so as they can focus on helping their clients in delivering strong, meaningful solutions.My own service proposition can be broken down as follows :1) Strong service delivery, build and maintain strong relationships and promise to do what I say I will do2) Product/Technical support, adding value to advisers and their businesses through tips and hints on client engagement, building my social media presence along with ways advisers can showcase what it is they do (value of advice).Recent surveys have shown that Australia is one of the few developed nations in the world that is highly underinsured.It is estimated that at least 20% of the Australian population between the ages of 21 and 64 will suffer some unfortunate event in their lives that will leave them incapable of working - A scary fact!And so I now commence a new and exciting chapter in my professional career with PPS Mutual, a growing, emerging, innovative and unique Insurance Provider.
