Bangor Navel Base

Managed daily network administration and maintaining Server software updates using SMS. Building new Servers and maintaining current Servers running Windows 2003 and Windows 2000 Server. Assisted in the network design for 2 buildings on the base that where being setup for a special project for the Navy. Configured routers implemented the wiring routes for the WAN and LAN. Troubleshooting Desktops and Server hardware issues. The Dept was supporting 17 Servers and 600 plus users across several different locations. Level 3 customer support contact, basically the last line of defense for desktop, networking and Server issues for the SWFPAC Dept.

Assisted in the development of Windows 2000 network infrastructure for the Western Region. Oversee and maintain the administrative work including: network user accounts, permissions, server updates, creating printing Que.'s and assist in the daily computer hardware and software issues. Responsible for the setup up all VPN accounts and manage remote access for employees. Supported employees from other office through out the U.S over the phone and remotely via modems and VPN connections.

Responsible for setting up e-mail accounts global and local in exchange server. Created NT and NetWare accounts assigning permissions, network drives and passwords. Assisted in implementing accounts in Secure ID and maintained the daily updates. Responsible for the daily web page updates for the company associates while using Microsoft Front Page, ASP, XML and running SQL Queries.
