The work performed by the HDR team is laying the groundwork for a multi-billion dollar effort to ensure adequate water supplies and preserve the natural environment throughout the Bay Delta and California Central Valley. Fresh water reaching the Delta provides the core for the California water system, conveying drinking water to 25 million residents from the Central Valley through Southern California. Water conveyed through the Delta supports California agriculture, providing financial stability to the region that produces nearly half of the nation s domestically grown produce. It also support extensive infrastructure of statewide importance and is a source of extensive recreational opportunities. Serving as the Deputy Program Manager for the Oregon Bridge Delivery Partners, a Joint Venture Company between HDR and Fluor’s Infrastructure Group delivering a $1.6 billion bridge repair and replacement program for the State of Oregon.
