Responsible for:• The introduction of new products including Customer start off meetings through to on time product deliveryThis involves a period of approximately 6 – 10 wks, during which I produce a Project Plan which includes the following:Initial meeting with customer to discuss their timescales, forecasts, end customer requirements and to set up a communication chain between various departments.Start up meeting at TT to decide team members and areas of responsibility.Loading and checking of customers Bill of Materials followed by the ordering of materials to determine Lead time.Ordering of test equipment and tooling.Weekly review with customer to discuss engineering changes and product updates.Planning of 1st off build and quality checks.Onsite meeting with customer during 1st off build in order for the customer to review their product.On time delivery of product to end customer.• Project Managing various teams of Production Engineers, Test Engineers, Quality Engineers and Production Supervisors• Project Spend• Process Engineering of build lines to maximise Lean Manufacturing• Plant to Plant transfers ( Project Managed the transfer of 10 customers from TTEMS Blyth to TTEMS Rogerstone after Blyth closure )• Customer liaison and after sales services
