Chyba and Partners is Interior design and furniture design company in Italy. I join in them as a part time/ freelance project manager to support it's current business and to explore new design projects in China market.

Samfet is a sub-contractor specialized on supplying stone (marble & granite) for high lever hotels and Casinos. We just finished two big projects in Macao, supply stone for the new Casinos. Below are my job descriptions: * Liaise with overseas project manager and carry out his requirements with factories * Work out production schedule with factories and report to PM* Hire and train QC inspectors to build an effective QC team * Monitor production progress, organize quality inspection with QC team* Understand the design drawings and materials, recommend needs on production process* Solve the complains from installation and improve with production, foresee the pitfalls to avoid extra cost

* Research new factories & products, do supplier evaluation & factory audit, report to overseas director* Liaise with overseas director and carry out his requirements with factories * Follow up the production status and report to higher level * Monitor production progress, organize quality inspection with QC team* Understand the design and materials, recommend the needs on new product development* Foresee the pitfalls and solve current problems with factory

Handle pricing, products matching, supplier finding and all other issues after order proceed into production.* Negotiate with vendors on price, delivery and contract terms* Supplier evaluations & factory audit* Prepare budgets and propose best option for production arrangement. (into different suppliers) * Minimise exposure and risk on project* Maintain quality control, present inspection report* Monitor production progress with factoriy* Arrange logistics (FCL/ LCL/ Consolidation) in both South and North China.

* Develop and extend business for new factory* Handle overseas market of Europe, North American and Australia. * Coordinate the production and client requirements* Train new sales person to build up sales team* Participate in the sales stratage* Help to Organize fairs each year

Mainly do the job as a sales and sales assistant, folllow up client accounts and orders, assis manager to track production progress. Been brought to work in EX Workshop Ltd. because the divorce of shareholders, after 3 months working in this factory.

This is a part time job when I was still in College. Been a teacher is a sacred part of my work career, and has a deep effect for my following journey.
