Manage daily operations of 850,000 sq. ft. retail distribution facility fully supplying 200+ stores nationwide. Operational responsibilities include but have not been limited to Inbound, Orderfill, and Outbound Operations, Inventory Control, Returns Processing, Maintenance, Loss Prevention, and Facilities Management. Responsible for managing inventory in excess of 25 million dollars (peak time; 30-40 million non-peak)In the absence of General Manager, assumed responsibility of day to day activities/operations, as well as all fiscal duties and obligations.Responsible for completing the following reports and planning tools: KPI (Monthly; Key Performance Indicators) / DC Weekly / Weekly Audit Sheet / and MDI Board (Weekly; Distribution Incentives).Oversee facilities management and maintenance, as well as aid in procurement of products and services as necessary to a means of production. Responsibilities include but were not limited to Restock Operations, Receiving, Shipping, IT, Safety, & Maintenance. Responsible for managing inventory in excess of 80 million dollars (peak time; 30-40 million non-peak)Assisted in the implementation/integration of three warehouse management systems (LogPro, PKMS, & WM) and both a Rapistan Pick and Put to Light order fulfillment system simultaneously (training users, developing procedures, etc.).Tasked with layout and design of 60,000 additional sq. ft. acquired to accommodate growth in both retail site replenishment and worldwide web sales fulfillment. Processed 12 million units annually while managing roughly 2,500 SKUs for those aforementioned 3,600 store locations nationwide.Led efforts in project/supply costing which resulted in excess of $500,000 in savings Aided in the creation and maintenance of all operational service metrics for our distribution facility.
