As the first and only intern that Parkview Financial has hosted I was fortunate enough to spend the summer rotating between a few of the operations they have going on. I was able to underwrite over $50 million in loans after spending some time with the underwriting team. The head of the construction team took me directly on construction sites where I was able to see the progress of the building. After spending time with the originating team I was able to create a competitive matrix to compare the rates of loans from the competitors in the marketplace. I also sat in on phone calls with the head of investor relations to see all sides of the business. This was a fantastic summer with an amazing team, I was able to create learning experience I will take with me for the rest of my life.
