As the Non-Intrusive Inspection System Field Service Representative I am a subject matter expert (SME) and responsible for maintenance, repair, supply support, and operational training for NIIS’ located at multiple OCONUS locations in the Middle Eastern countries. Perform preventive and unscheduled maintenance, repair, operations, and supply support for the NIIS, NIIS platform, and ancillary equipment. Installs, maintains, modifies, tests, troubleshoots, and repairs NIIS equipment to both hardware and software components. Performs hardware and software upgrades. Perform preventive maintenance on NIIS equipment, following a Preventive Maintenance Checks and Services (PMCS) schedule. Perform radiation surveys weekly to ensure the containment enclosure is not damaged or leaking excess radiation. Uploads and tracks supply and maintenance actions in a Government provided Logistics Information System (LIS). Ensuring accurate data is entered into the LIS in order to track: System performance, Contractor performance, Configuration Management, System Locations, Inventories, Work Orders, Operational Readiness, Support local, regional, and theater-wide exercises. Utilize advanced abilities and skills to help create, institute, and improve environmental programs on US Government instillations in Kuwait. Assist with executing hazardous material and hazardous waste programs within industrial environments. Perform monthly site inspections to find potential environmental hazards or non-compliance with EPA Programs. Complete auditing of installation sites to ensure that correct procedures are followed. Produce reports on identified environmental deficiencies at work sites.Obtain samples from fresh water and wastewater sites on military instillations and send them for analysis. Help collect recyclable commodities to support the Qualified Recycling Program.
