I completed my bachelor of pharmaceutical sciences degree with a medicinal chemistry major at the Monash Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, having undertaken research projects under the supervision of Prof. Bernard Flynn and Prof. Martin Scanlon. I am currently in his third year of PhD with the Scanlon group with a focus in the design and synthesis of novel chemical probes for metabolic diseases such as type 2 diabetes and atherosclerosis. I’m also interested in data science and cheminformatics. More specifically, I’m working on developing computational tools to better guide early medicinal chemistry efforts in fragment-based drug discovery campaigns.
