Supervises U.S. base facility repair and construction management and transitions, $1.3B Afghanistan Infrastructure Fund, MILCON, and other infrastructure related programs, $330M high explosive training range clearanceprogram, environmental, real estate, prime power, Task Force Protect Our Warfighter initiatives, programs, and projects. Commander of a One Station Unit Training (OSUT) Battalion that annually trains over 1900 12B Combat Engineers and 12C Bridge Crewmembers in Basic Combat Training (BCT), Advanced Individual Training (AIT), and as required BCT only for seperate MOSs. Supervises the planning, preparing, executing, and assessing of the 12B/12C OSUT. Responsible for the training, mentoring, professional development, and overall safety and welfare of 97 permanent party Officers, Noncommissioned Officers, Soldiers, and Civilians. Exercises command responsibility for equipment, facilities, property, and training areas worth over $100M. Leads family readiness operations within the Battalion, balancing Soldier and Family well-being with mission requirements.

Battalion Executive Officer of a 1,100 Soldier Engineer Battalion forward deployed in the CENTCOM Area of Responsibility in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, comprised of 6 modular Clearance Companies and a Forward Support Company. Responsible for the battalion administration and logistics, and maintenance of 359 wheeled vehicles and all other assigned equipment valued at of $221 million. Responsible for the staff planning mission order dissemination and staff synchronization. Leads 36 Soldiers to provide administrative, logistics, maintenance, ministry, medical, signal, and family readiness support advisor support to the battalion.

Serves as the Operations Officer of a 1,100 Soldier Engineer Route Clearance Task Force forward deployed to Regional Command-South, Afghanistan. Advises the commander on all matters concerning operations, plans, training, and force development and modernazation. Responsible for the intelligence analysis, operational planning, resource allocation, orders execution, status tracking, force protection, and command and control of 8 companies. Directly responsible for the training, development, welfare, morale, and safety of 13 officers, 10 noncommissioned officers and 9 Soldiers.

Executive Officer for a 389-Soldier battalion with an attached 151-Soldier company. Serves as second in command of the battalion and supervisory responsible for administration, supply and maintenance of the battalion; coordinating the staff, developing and enforcing unit standard operating procedures; personnel readiness of the battalion, execution of command supply discipline program; administration of battalion budget, counseling, mentoring and development of all battalion primary staff officer, and developing unit status report. Supervises the battalion tactical operations center and plans, coordinate and oversees execution of all battalion tactical operations.

Observe, coach, and train Company Commanders and company operations on the planning of combined arms combat engineer operations in support of task force operations during unit training at the National Training Center. Lead and train Maneuver Support Engineer Company Team. Responsible for the supervision and professional development of four non commissioned officers. Provides accurate an timely analysis of company operations and engineer integration. Senior advisor to the task force trainer on engineer company operations. Provide comprehensive coverage of training units in quality after action reviews to assist in their improvement.

Commander of a mechanized combat engineer company. Principle advisor on all facets of engineer doctrine, combined arms integration and tactical employment of engineer assets. Responsible for forward operating base force protection and Baghdad infrastructure and humanitarian construction operations. Responsible for readiness, training, deployability, welfare and safety of 95 Soldiers and care and support for their families. Responsible for maintenance, accountability, safe operation and combat readiness of 23 tracked and 13 wheeled combat vehicles and associated weapons, sets, kits and outfits and property valued over $17 million.
