I am the youth pastor for 6th-12th grade students. I teach Sunday School, plan trips and year round activities as well as work with a sponsor team for both the Junior High and High School groups. We work together at setting the overall flow of the year. We work hard at building relationships as well as encouraging and challenging each other to grow in our faith and relationship Christ. I preach 4-6 times per year and have come to appreciate and enjoy the process of preparing for and delivering sermons. I also enjoy and get energy from leading the youth praise team. I work with the rest of the staff and pastoral team to process overall church activities and direction.

While at Amigo Centre, I was responsible for coordinating the Winter Youth Retreats (4 a winter), the summer program, assisted with Outdoor Environmental Education and other areas around the camp from maintenance, housekeeping, kitchen and dining hall work and guest group hosting.For my main areas of responsibility, I developed both the winter and summer programs, recruited speakers and staff, and generated new ideas to keep improving these programs and keeping new and fresh. Also while at Amigo Centre, I developed a budding interest in creation care and eco-stewardship.
