This role honed my technical skills in managing and monitoring network health, building and maintaining customer relationships, and ensuring 24x7 operational uptime. Eager to take on new challenges, I transitioned to the AT&T Managed Security Services Team as a Tier 2 engineer. My focus shifted to Federal customers, including the US Department of Justice, USDA, US Department of the Treasury, United States Postal Service, and many other government and restricted clients. My efforts earned multiple service excellence awards.I led Security Operations Center compliance audits conducted every spring and fall for over 10 years. I then moved into a data analytics role within the cybersecurity teams, collaborating with management to review processes and identify areas for improvement. Notable achievements include reducing the Average Speed of Answer (ASA) for incoming calls from 90 seconds to less than 30 and the Mean Time to Repair (MTTR) for security incidents from 120 minutes to under 60. This included weekly reviews of all inventory data points to verify they are updated for Service Delivery and Incident management. The overall result was savings over $1.2 million for the organization due to recovery of older inventory assets as well as updating onboarding and recovery processes.
