Administer the day-to-day Radiology PACS operation and maintenance in a complex environment that requires extensive organization and coordination at a variety of geographically dispersed locations. Ensure images in database are accurately stored with respect to correct image, dictation and patient information. Troubleshoot image quality issues and determine if problem is hardware/software related, or personnel issue. Help physicians locate images and repair studies as required. Test and analyze computer hardware and software malfunctions to resolve physical and logical problems. Manage other Radiology imaging workstations and servers which interface with the PACS such as Tera Recon, CADStream, and DynaSuite. Install and configure servers and applications for techs and radiologist. Act as POC for internal and external customers for troubleshooting, implementation, testing, configuration, and upgrades. Helped manage the install of a completely new PACS system from start to finish including PACS, Cardio PACS, and Voice Recognition.

Helped manage day-to-day operations of, Enterprise level IT systems in Radiology Imaging Informatics department that contains multiple sites, has over 140 Radiologists, and performs 270,000 studies per year. Supervise a team of 7 people that maintain 30 servers and multiple applications, which include PACS, RIS, and Voice Recognition. Also responsible for the CR and hard copy printers. Interface with vendors to help facilitate and plan installs, break/fixes, testing, and upgrades to hardware and software. Immediately upon hire, took over head roll and acted as manager for three months while manager took leave.

Lead technician responsible for the everyday maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting of the PACS equipment, CR equipment, and voice recognition at multiple sites. Manage over 15 servers, 120 workstations, and 1500 users on the PACS side. Manage 1 server, 40 workstations, and 150 users on voice recognition software. Manage 16 CR clusters, which include the CR laser device, CR workstation, and dry image printers. Played major role in the planning and execution of 2 major PACS upgrades, 2 major voice recognition upgrades, and major CR workstation upgrade, all of which were successful. Work with various vendors on the installation of new modalities and troubleshooting various issues.
