Actually a Preventive Maintenance Technician at the moment.

Maintain and upkeep of all equipment used as well as assisting mechanics.

My job consists of the maintaining/ repair of turf equipment for the day to day maintenance of the course and surrounding areas. I also assist on weekends with other set up projects.I also grind and adjust the cutting units for each of the pieces of equipment. I also have worked on the irrigation system for the course. Over seen Airrification of golf course along with Over seeding of course.

I was the Equipment Technician/ Equipment Manager and handled all maintenance and up keep of all equipment and course operations. Also took part in the Airrification and Over seeding of the course twice during employment. Also assisted in many other landscaping and beautification projects such as planting trees shrubs and other plants to enhance the course appearance. Also Volunteered during tournaments, assisting with carts and parking.

This was part of the completion of the certificate program from LCCC (Florida Gateway College). So i had hands on training in the field on how to maintain equipment and operate the equipment as well. At the same time as honing my skills for later employment in the Golf Course Industry.

Started as a pitman in Seymour ,In and then was promoted to Assistant Manager ,within afew months was promoted to manager and given my own location in North Vernon,In ,aftergetting that location up and running was then transferred to Scottsburg ,In also asManagement . Responsibilities included hire/fire of employees ,inventory ,customer service,automotive services ,etc.

then transferd toSeymour ,In and then finished out the remainder of my 6yr enlistment.
