I have taken up partnership with my previous director from Riverside Mechanical Gary Brennan. My role is to manage the commercial aspects of all live projects going forward and to oversee the estimates of new work being tendered.

I took up a position as senior estimator for McGrattan & Kenny Ltd. My role was predominantly estimating new projects but I also project managed a couple of smaller projects including agreeing final accounts. I only left McGrattan & Kenny as I was offered a partnership with Phoenix Mechanical and it was too great a chance to turn down.

I started out in Riverside as Chief Estimator and worked my way up to Senior QS, where I was in charge of managing all costs on Live Projects including submitting progress claims, variations and final accounts. I was also in charge of overseeing all tender estimates before final submittal.

I started out in PJ Clonan and Co. as a CAD Operator and worked my way up to Senior Estimator/Office Manager in the 10 years I worked there. By the time I left I was overseeing the managing of costs on the projects from an office point of view from Estimating to final Account and all claims and variations in between. I also looked after all hand over documentation including As Installed Drawings
