About Jason Scheff
As of June 26, I am the Co-Director of Programming and Recruitment at J Sports Academy - A JCC sports day camp launching in 2024 at the Masters School. In this role, I will build the program, and handle all coach, staff, and camper recruitment. Prior to accepting this position, I was a Foundation for Jewish Camp (FJC) Fellow working on a portfolio of Staff Engagement and Jewish Education. I graduated from the University of Maryland in 2021, having majored in Kinesiology, and minored in General Business. While at UMD, I served as the president of the Alpha Epsilon Pi Fraternity (Delta Deuteron Chapter), a Greek organization consisting of 100+ students. I was a member of the Jewish Leadership Council for Hillel at University of Maryland (consulting body to the director of Hillel), and worked as an intern for AJC in Washington, D.C in Fall 2020.I am interested in careers of sports administration and Jewish communal work. My passion for sports and embodying Jewish values has driven my pursuit of these careers. I hope to inspire that same passion for others the same way that my coaches and mentors instilled a love of sports and Judaism within me. I pride myself on being a team player, communicator, hard worker, motivator, and fast learner. I approach every task with intensity and a desire to complete it to the best of my ability. These skills and traits help me to connect with others and to perform well and efficiently in a work setting.
