Ensures key business projects are turned into a clear and actionable project plans to implement and capture identified value. Collaborates in the development of procurement strategy while assisting the execution of the overall project. Leads centralized procurement branch and data support functions, master data execution, material cost management, and system cost accuracy. Drives cost confidence across Border States branch locations. Responsible for procurement projects, including but not limited to mergers and acquisitions, branch moves, and vendor line conversions. Leads development and execution of strategic priorities and department fiscal year planning for the costing and procurement services teams along with development and oversite of the costing and procurement services department budget.

The Procurement Services Manager will be responsible for leading day to day operations of the procurement services team. The Procurement Services Supervisor will be responsible for leading day to day operations of the procurement services team.  Leads procurement initiatives as they relate to acquisitions, significant customer implementations, line conversions or other major business changes. Pricing Specialist:Leads and supervises the day-to-day operations and Pricing Specialist activities according to thecompany mission, culture, service philosophy and meeting the goals and objectives set forth by the Board, Senior Leadership Team and Executive Council.Cost Analyst:Identify and analyze opportunities to lower product costs with our suppliers, recommend pricing strategies, and negotiate better costs, allowing to position Border States to be as competitive as possible in the market place. - Evaluate price relationships - Identify and research costs that deviate from normal pricing parameters - Analyze cost differences between different locations, regions and customer types

Leads BSE staff at corporate and branch levels with the development of Alliance pricing strategies relative to specific customer agreements and other major business changes utilizing most appropriate system resources and tools. This will include a focus on customer specific pricing strategy development relative to proposals, implementations and regular pricing maintenance.Will lead and complete regular review of cost changes, margin levels, ceiling/sell prices and pricing audits for Alliance customers. Will also drive continuous improvement and correction in these areas through facilitation of Alliance Inventory and Pricing meetings. Responsible for data analysis relative to changing costs for Alliance customers to determine areas where increased focus should be applied. Responsible for consistently bringing awareness to key branch contacts of upcoming expiring contracts.Will work closely with the Sourcing and Aggregation department along with the Marketing department to identify potential Alliance cost savings and appropriate pricing strategies. Will work closely with Supply Chain Service Specialists and branch staff to identify and understand customer specific pricing management needs. Assists in the development of pricing management, tools, and processes as changing business needs are identified for Alliance customers. Also works closely with Pricing Associates and appropriate BSE management to understand and integrate the pricing tools being used internally with trends in Alliance customer pricing management requirements.

Supports the operation functions of the Corporate Inventory and Pricing department through development of strategies to improve integration with upstream suppliers and improve quality of overall material master data within SAP.Leads efforts within Inventory and Pricing departments to improve accessibility to material master data from suppliers. Lead development of strategies to further integrate supplier data into SAP in an efficient manner through the use of external tools.Assist with material maintenance efforts within SAP. Maintenance efforts to include UPC codes, material descriptions, manufacturer part numbers, UNSPSC codes, units of measure, weights, dimensions, dangerous/hazardous goods, list pricing and net pricing.

Responsible for maintenance, coordination and support of data intensive processes within the Corporate Inventory and Pricing departments.Provide leadership, direction and innovation to the Data Support & Project team to help achieve our vital factor goals.Leads the assignment of projects across the data support team and determination of project completion dates. Participate in the monthly project prioritization meeting in collaboration with Inventory, Pricing and Strategic Services process owners.

Supports the day-to-day data needs of the Corporate Pricing and Inventory departments according to the company’s mission and culture and meets the goals and objectives set forth by the Board and Executive Council.Responsibility for development, maintenance, coordination and support of data intensive processes and projects within the Corporate Inventory and Pricing departments. Responsible for the loading and maintenance of new and existing cost conditions, list pricing and pricing contracts within SAP. Reviews price change reports and quotations before and after price changes. Monitors price levels, price lists and cost/sell factors for accuracy.Performs individual item maintenance, including, but not limited to, source list, information records and value contracts. Maintains pricing files for cost and sell information. Creates spreadsheets for product line discount schedules for costs and sells that need to be uploaded into SAP. Maintains files and databases for rebates. Handles blocked invoices for debit, credit, cost and price issues.Administrator for the Industry Data Warehouse.
