A regular at symposiums and paddle festivals, including Lumpy Waters Symposium in Oregon, Golden Gate Sea Kayak Symposium in California, and the Florida International Sea Kayak Symposium.Since beginning my coaching career in 2007, I've lead over 1000 instruction courses from basic to advanced, guided over 50 multi-day trips at sea, and personally coached tens of thousands of people in the discipline of sea kayaking. I've given dozens of presentations to paddle clubs, environmental groups, and businesses on sea kayaking, kayak fishing, and promoting environmental stewardship among water users.
