- Advise and coordinates all matters pertaining to occupational safety and health- Ensures compliance with legal, statutory, and legislative requirements in respect to safety and health- Collects, collate, updates, and maintain relevant statistical data in a systematic manner/prepare necessary site safety plan- Constant monitoring of poisonous substances- Inspect all kinds of PPE's before, during and after use- Inspect fire fighting equipment- Conduct pre-use inspection of tools, equipment, machinery, transport vehicles- Conduct routine inspections on work areas- Recommend stop work when necessary- Perform duties as deemed necessary

- Monitors the implementation and operation of the Safety Plan- Responsible to Area manager on a day to day basis for weekly inspections and reports- Verifies the correctness of reporting procedures for accidents and dangerous occurences, and certification of equipments and operatives- Day-to day scrutiny of operation on site with regards to safe system of works including PPE and sub-contractors- Does weekly inspection and submit findings and observations to Safety Manager- Holds and conducts toolbox talks- Ensures that all accident and dangerous occurrences are reported and remedial actions is being undertaken
