As a senior producer, program manager, leader and team member in gaming I strive to bring positive energy and passion to whatever challenge is put in my path. Accepting change whether it’s reorgs or ownership of responsibilities has always been a part of what I do which has enabled me to continually learn. I've been in games production since 1995 supporting Microsoft PC and Xbox games. I've contributed to over 140+ games managing production on multiple titles simultaneously. I was based in Dublin Ireland till March 2013 and now am in Redmond Washington. At Microsoft I've worn numerous hats starting as an Audio Engineer growing through different Program Management roles to becoming a Senior Producer. I've managed localization operations for Xbox Game Studio developers such as The Coalition, Turn 10, Playground and 343 Industries. In addition as Head of Microsoft Gaming Voice Over Localization I drive to improve voice over quality, process best practices and efficiencies that equate to a better global gaming experience. I love learning about technology and seeing it used and innovated to improve quality, processes and efficiencies and ultimately the end user’s experience. My approach to my job is greatly influenced by my learning of Six sigma (Analyzing), Dale Carnegie (Leading) and a Growth Mindset (Learning). Senior Program ManagerMicrosoft Sep 2017 - Jun 2020Redmond, Washington, Us• I managed Localization Production end to end for all releases from 343 Industries, The Coalition, Turn10 and Playground ensuring timely execution, high quality and with in budget. During this role’s timeframe was responsible for multiple main releases, episodic releases and ongoing sustainment.• I managed the Gaming voice over localization process through strategic collaborations where I've developed processes and tools for analyzing and monitoring voice over quality that saves time and ensures better quality.• I led the development to create operational metrics and BI dashboards that enable us to monitor our production end to end. We can define actionable insights that continue to help our business to improve and evolve to meet the needs of the games industry. The success of our measures led to me being made responsible for driving not just games operational metrics but 5 other Microsoft lines of business. • I managed Microsoft Gaming Localization finance pipeline end to end creating a standardized pipeline for budgeting, forecasting and reporting out on our complete portfolio's costs. This included developing a tool to generate detailed budget costs of Translation, Audio, Testing and Age Rating and then enabling this tool to generate a portfolio view of our budget. Using PowerBI I also developed dashboards specifically for monitoring Budget and actuals.• I developed a RACI for Games localization end to end through collaboration of stakeholders that enabled us to assess our responsibilities and workload. -

I came from a role where my focus was on Audio both upstream with customers and downstream with suppliers to in this role to focusing downstream but more broadly across the complete localization production pipeline. My role included driving translation, engineering, project management and audio in localization production. I managed the portfolio assignment strategy of resources to enable end to end production that was scalable and future relevant. I partnered with Industry leading suppliers acting as a catalyst for constant innovation, process refinement and quality management. I drove the evolution and adoption of different supplier models to meet the needs of our business. I acted as a key stakeholder and driver of the finance management tools and process helping to define how we forecast and budget. The team and community I worked with spreads across several Microsoft business lines enabling collaborations on tools and process synergies and strategy. -

I partnered with great suppliers worldwide and constantly evolved how we work with them to deliver consistently high quality voice over and ensure our customers are getting the best possible audio localisation experience at the best price. In addition to localisation I partnered directly with Microsoft Studios Publishing team as well as Microsoft Studios development teams. I provided them with global solutions and recommendations that help to enable efficient production pipelines. -
Localization Program Manager / Localization ProducerMicrosoft Jul 2013 - Jun 2015Redmond, Washington, UsAs a Loc PM I managed the end to end localization of Xbox Music and Video Apps across 8 platforms covering up to 109 languages. I lead the global production team of multiple disciplines including Project Management, Engineering, Test and Translation. The team was made up of internal and external SME’s which turned around the production continually on a bi-weekly sprint basis. Through a great team collaboration and effort we clearly defined and refined the pipeline with new tools development and their adoption plus standardization of our processes. This success led to reduced cost savings and the ability to be more agile as a service. My role as a Loc Producer was carried out while I was still acting as the Lead Global Audio Producer for Xbox Games localization. -
