My professional background is best summarized as applying control engineering principles to biological systems to better understand how we can bend natural systems to our liking while elucidating the information management strategies nature itself has evolved. This work can be applied to several different fields, though I am particularly fund of developing novel, cell-based energy sources and applying intracellular control strategies to risk management models in financing. Outside of the office - I like to participate with local help groups.
