I have always worked within the recruitment industry but not like many of my close friends running desks. I always got a buzz from working alongside this type of salespeople but in a supporting role, enhancing their skills, their tools, the environment and the overall infrastructure in a way that enabled them to achieve the best sales results possible. What about Sunblink then? Well, Pete and I want to maximise on our complimentary skills, whilst adapting to the ever-changing market, challenging ourselves in new ways and also helping to provide a platform that enables others in the recruitment industry to come through in a way that Pete and I have been lucky enough to do, which incidentally was massively influenced by the platform provided to us by Stephen Hill and Steven Ware as we started out at Hill McGlynn. We didn’t have to look far to find the first person we could impact – Elliot House, with his crazy character, creative brain, sharp mind and overall marketing ninja skills was the missing piece of the jigsaw for us at Sunblink as we now take on the worldSunblink has three strands – Emerge, Rise & Dawn – all of which you can see more details of across my profile and our website. Rise is for the recruitment company already flying but without the necessary back office team, where we offer you the very best of us(!) A remote, but fully armed and dangerous support team to handle as much or as little as you need us to on either a project or subscription basis. Everything from HR, Marketing, Finance and Legal.. Dawn is a not-for-profit way to use our skills in a way that benefits local charities improve the way they operate, enabling them to continue to make a difference to our community.Then there is Emerge, which I am loving taking a lead on, and this is working with recruiters across all sectors. Enabling them to use their skills and self-belief and take that step as a business owner of their recruitment business.
