As Gisborne’s Proposal Manager, I am responsible for coordinating our estimating team as we receive requests from potential clients. I receive and review requests, provide the package to the appropriate team member to complete the estimate, and complete proposal paperwork as required. My tasks during the estimating process include procurement, specification review and materials takeoffs, labour factor application, equipment selection, scheduling, execution strategizing, packaging, and submission.

At Knappett Industries, I was responsible for estimating and managing projects in the North Island districts. This role included detailed review of project specifications, drawings, and documents for complete estimates as well as effective management once awarded. My management tasks included procurement, scheduling, change management, client relations, and cost tracking.
