For 7 years, led a research partnership with Clark County School District (CCSD) focused on understanding the role psycho-social factors in student success, and on developing early indicators to identify at-risk students prior to the transitions to middle and high school. PI and project director for IES funded large scale replication study of Self-Affirmation, and REL factorial RCT of the combined effects of empathic discipline and self-affirmation among elementary students. Served as Principal Investigator (PI) and project director for multiple RCTs on topics including Self-Affirmation, Empathic Instruction, Elevate Math, and magnet schools. Served as director of the Research Practice Partnerships content area from 2020-2022.
