I am a research scientist interested in understanding the evolutionary history of planets and satellites. I study the geological and physical properties of planetary surfaces, interiors, and atmospheres. My work includes the analysis of remote sensing data, including visible and near infrared observations from imaging spectrometers and multispectral imaging systems, and geophysical data, including measurements of gravity and topography.I am a Co-Investigator on the Mapping Imaging Spectrometer for Europa (MISE) and Europa Imaging System (EIS) instruments selected for the NASA Europa mission. I am also Participating Scientist on the Cassini-Huygens mission, working with the Visible and Infrared Mapping Spectrometer (VIMS) and RADAR instrument teams. Finally, I am an associate of the Gravity Recovery and Interior Laboratory (GRAIL) science team and a collaborator on the Mars Exploration Rover (MER) science team.In addition to my analysis of scientific data, I am also involved in the design, development, and implementation of planetary exploration missions, with a specific interest in novel approaches to acquire visible and near infrared multi-spectral and hyper-spectral images of planetary surfaces with limited available flux. I am particularly interested in the development of multi-spectral imagers capable of high-resolution imaging of the surface of Saturn's moon, Titan.
