Machine Tool Service and Repair

Assist customers with issues via phone support to either lead them to correction of problem or to gather as much data as possible to deploy the correct personnel to assist. Managed the schedule, 4 Service Engineers working remotely, and the billing aspect of the business. Occasionally went to customer’s facility to train my direct reports to be a stronger asset to the team. Worked directly with Sales Team to get new machine installations set up and as a source of information regarding fitment of accessories and timelines. Was the voice of the Service side of the company to give customers an asset within a nationally accredited Machine Tool sales company. COVID19 unfortunately caused set backs and lay offs within the organization and I was effected.

Installation, service and repair of multiple brands of CNC mills, lathes, and mill turn equipment throughout Washington, Oregon, and Idaho. All aspects of hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical and mechanical diagnosis and repair of equipment. Daily interactions with many types of people from operators to company CEO’s while maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor. Ability to troubleshoot over the phone to assist as much as I can if not able to get onsite quickly enough.

Oversee Maintenance personnel and equipment in an aerospace environment. Duties not limited to hiring, discipline, reviews and termination of direct reports. Direct input of equipment needs and funds for my department. Training of individuals of proper CNC service procedures on a daily basis. Assist in getting ANSI certified company wide as well as being a safety coordinator. Gave weekly status reports to management of goals achieved and what remains on the schedule.
