I am a mechanical engineer in training (EIT) with a wide array of experiences across industries. I have experience in project management, mechanical design, customer interactions, drafting, and shop practices.Currently, I engineer submerged, vertical, centrifugal pump solutions for molten sulphur and sulphuric acid applications. Solutions require a thorough understanding of the contract specifications, industry standards, and application-specific knowledge. Additionally, I design knife, gate, globe, and butterfly valves for a wide variety of process applications.In addition to typical design work, I spent several months with colleagues in an Additive Manufacturing design center learning how to implement technology in the traditional manufacturing environment.Previously, I worked in a manufacturing setting as a technical support engineer for customers. This included using process piping skills to determine how to achieve the customers’ needs.I seek to work in a multidisciplinary team developing innovative solutions to meet the niche requirements laid out by customers. I've found it important to embrace new ideas, seek new technologies, and think critically at both the macro and micro scale. I also meet every challenge as part of a larger ecosystem, meaning I do my best to ensure that my solutions do not cause other problems down the line. Lastly, I thrive in an environment where I'm enabled by my supervisor and team to take initiative to create and experiment with new ideas.
