I am currently serving as the Director of Infrastructure at Aveanna Healthcare in Atlanta, GA. I previously served in a similar roles at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, RaceTrac Petroleum, and Aaron's Inc. I have also served as the CIO in a startup hosted VOIP provider. As the Infrastructure Director for a Fortune 1000 company, I was named Employee of the Year for 2012 for the contributions of my team.With technology, I look for solutions that meet the needs of the business as efficiently as possible, but also provide capacity and capability to meet unexpressed future needs. My degree in Industrial Engineering has served me well in analyzing complex problems and developing viable, long-term solutions that maximize budget efficiency. My intent is always to detect root-cause and correct. Even if the root-cause is beyond my control, I will push others that can control it. The greatest complement that can ever be paid to me is that the Information Technology departments I manage are largely taken for granted. This allows IT to focus on providing value and competitive advantage to the business.As a leader, I take great pride in the teams I have created. I love creating true team environments utilizing Agile project management methodologies.Many of my hires go on to lead other successful teams. I am a good judge of talent, but an even better judge of character that will lead to a better long-term fit. In a 7 year career at Aaron's, there was virtually no turnover in my department unless it was a promotion.
