We provided maintenance, fabrication and overhaul services to several customers including Pacific National, Aurizon, Qube and CFCLA.My key role is to manage a safe, efficient and productive site, with the expectation of building strong working relationships with our customers. along with developing the master production schedule based on the demand plan forecast and directing the production team. Capacity planning across three work centres and future workforce planning.I have made changes to the distribution chain, added value to the warehousing functions and logistical functions improving efficiency to delivery performance. Implementation of 6S.Increasing the efficiency of scheduling and planning to maintain budget and reduce excess inventory has been both rewarding and challenging. Analysing previous sales and implementing forecasting methods.Preparing costing and operations budget for the next fiscal year.Monitoring the delivery performance by gathering data from all departments and directing changes to meet shortfalls and ensuring 96% on time delivery performance with a high motivation for customer satisfaction and focus.With a focus on work station data capture and time management studies, to constantly improve work flow, and to address any short falls or production hold ups, identifying any future potential problems.
