• Provide administration support for the team of claims assessors in the Exeter & Salisbury office.• Taking new claims notifications by telephone from customers or financial advisors.• Setting up new claims on the computer system and allocating new claims to the appropriate claims assessor. • Writing Letters to customers, GPs, Medical Consultants and other insurance companies.• Taking technical claims queries from the call centre or directly from customers and financial advisors.• Helped roll out a new computer system and headed up training to all members of the health claims department.• Following the notice of the Exeter office closure, and my subsequent redundancy, I volunteered myself to organise and deliver training to the new claims administrators in the Salisbury office. This included travelling to and staying in Salisbury in order to deliver this.• Whilst my job role has been in transition following the notice of redundancy, I have been completing various projects for the manager of the Health Claims department.
