With Atkins I have been involved on a mixture of new build and refurbishment projects. This has included:- secondment to the Birmingham site office, working for Atkins rail division, assisting on the refurbishment of Birmingham New Street Railway Station, where I was based for 12 months- structural and civil lead engineer on a significant project in Saudi Arabia. This has involved several trips overseas to manage the procurement of site investigations and liaison with the client. - design manager on a large educational facility in Saudi Arabia- lead structural and civil engineer for the design of two large underground stations on Doha Metro Gold LineIn addition to overseeing the structural and civil aspects of the above projects, I am also responsible for the coordination and inter-disciplinary design checks with all disciplines, utilising Revit/BIM/Navisworks.

This involved liaising with our existing SW regional offices to provide structural engineering services, to backup our existing skill set, in addition to building new relationships with prospective cients.
