I am a software engineer with over nine years of experience working both individually and collaboratively with other engineering disciplines. My experience includes design, development, and support of embedded software and non-embedded applications. I have excellent problem solving and debugging skills.I have a logical, analytical focus and have a passion for computer science. I also enjoy learning about new technologies. For example, a couple of college friends and I like to celebrate the fourth of July with fireworks, and decided that we wanted to make our own fireworks launching system. As the software guy, my task was to implement an iPhone/iPad interface for remotely setting the state of pins on wifi XBee radios. I taught myself Objective-C and created an interface for both the iPhone and iPad that would allow sequences of pin state changes and delays to be configured, so that an entire show could be choreographed ahead of time and executed on command.
