I am an experienced technical support engineer and have a passion for providing customers with courteous, professional technical assistance. Since I was very young I have always enjoyed working with computers. Initially, as a youngster, I enjoyed all the different games that were available. As I got older I became more interested in how the hardware worked and building PC's. This lead to a long period of configuring and building different "gaming PC's" due to my love of games and the performance these machines offered.Naturally, this passion evolved into exploring and resolving technical issues for friends and family. This troubleshooting experience got me interested in making a career out of IT/technical support. After obtaining my first Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in Computer and Networking Technologies, I had the fortune of getting a position with Symantec Corporation as a Technical Support Engineer. During my tenure with Symantec I supported many different products including Symantec Antivirus Corporate Edition, Symantec Client Firewall, Symantec Mail Security for Microsoft Exchange, Symantec Brightmail Message Filtering, Symantec Mail Security for Domino, and Symantec Protection Engine for Network Attached Storage.Currently I am a full-time student at Lane Community College, seeking a 2nd AAS degree in Computer Network Operations. I plan to graduate in the Spring of 2020 and look forward to furthering my IT career.
