Outside the daily process oriented tasks, I have found that I love to work with a team on any size of project. Singly, I have had success in design, theory and implementation of unique thought experiments. For instance, while still in my first year, I developed a design of experiment (DOE) to prove theory and function of the best practice management in carbon fiber mechanical properties. These best practices have been scrutinized and verified by doctorate level professionals in SGL corporate lab in Meitingen Germany. More recently, I am designing an update/redesign of carbonizing furnaces to develop higher tensile strength and modulus for industrial aerospace carbon fiber production.Also, the following daily tasks are "a given" as process engineering staples. Provide day to day technical advice, problem solving and support to operations and maintenance by applying engineering principles, and reliability tools to drive problems to root cause. Initiate and implement improvement projects including engineered solutions to eliminate safety and quality issues, repetitive equipment failures and other major to minor issues. Manage Capex projects with trial requests, management of change requests, schedules, costs, and finally conducting operational readiness inspections.

Maintained delicate stoichiometric balance within multiple underground ring furnaces using Autofire system with exhaust scrubbing system, and P.L.C. controls. Also, as a member of a 2 person on shift team, operated a overhead 12 ton rail crane to service the furnaces and keep the flow of product at the maximum efficiency.

Honorably served a complete four year enlistment . Was twice personally awarded for outstanding conduct "above and beyond," my rank and station.
