Currently working towards my P. Eng. designation with APEGA by earning experience, knowledge and skill sets at CNRL - Horizon Oil Sands. Have spent the last 6 years as Production Planner for Horizon site to optimize and produce production targets. I work closely with and advise operations, maintenance and Turnaround coordinators/planners on potential production impacts and the most optimal way to mitigate against production losses.I have completed my Chemical Engineering with a minor in Petroleum Engineering degree at the University of Calgary Schulich School of Engineering. I made the Dean's List in 2011/2012 and 2012/2013 semesters. In the first few years of my degree I have received the Jason Lang, Louise McKinney, PES 3rd Year Scholarship and APEGA Education in Engineering scholarships for my academic merit.I have a great interest in the Oil and Gas industry and am continually increasing my knowledge of the business by: working with CNRL in the 2012 summer around the Bonnyville area, 2013 summer working with Apache Canada Ltd. near the Olds/Sundre area, the 2014 summer working with CNRL in the Lloydminster area, and working for Nexen in the 2015 summer at the Calgary head office with the Eagle Ford asset team.I consider myself a sports enthusiast to a wide variety of sports, although hockey and football are my favourites. I like to play, participate or watch any sport my free time allows. I also like to spend time with family and friends in a wide variety of gatherings.
