Current• Manage short and mid-range Horizon production models to identify production risks and present optimal solutions to operations and senior management.• Update and inform marketing and finance of any potential production impacts to adjust key logistics or cash flows as necessary.• Conducted weekly presentations to various stakeholders from multiple departments to flag production risks and potential impacts to other business units.• Collaborated on multi-year scenario modelling and economic analyses of new clean fuel regulation (CFR) for Horizon diesel consumption to provide recommendations and insights on the most cost-effective strategy for senior leadership to aid in decision-making.• Model and evaluated multiple scenarios with available assets to support Turnaround Coordinators/Planners optimization efforts for extended maintenance windows.• Developed and automated an extensive losses database that produces a robust monthly losses report. This report is communicated out to multiple departments and is used to support various business units CI projects to minimize production losses.• Streamlined and implemented new production losses tracking process and calculation procedure for more efficient and consistent reporting.• Peer review colleagues calculations and models for short, mid and long range planning or projects purposes. Coach new team members on data analysis, calculation methods, overall process flows and plant limitations.• Assisted U2 Process Engineering during past 3 Turnarounds with as-found condition inspections and final inspections for closures.
