My current company is converting all key technology roles to in person only positions so I’m exploring my options! Moving across the country is not ideal for me. For those that don’t know me… 🙋‍♂️I’m a former high performing digital marketer that could never resist moving towards the most complex issues (advanced attribution, data integrations, complex tracking, operationalizing disparate data sources). I did this for nearly a decade until I found myself firmly occupying that grey area between marketing and engineering! At this point my job titles changed depending on the company (product manager… product growth…), but my aim and focus stayed the same. There are two ideal spots for me to land…1️⃣A performing marketing team that owns their solutioning and implementation and really needs someone to take charge of the tech stack.2️⃣A technology or product team that is highly integrated with marketing use cases and outcomes. Not the “IT department”, but the brain trust that is a technical arm of marketing. I’d consider myself a maestro with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, all things dataLayer, customer data platforms, customer data orchestration, reporting, and understanding how all the marketing channels work alongside each other (as I’ve pretty much worn all hats in the marketing mix)I’d consider myself functional in data engineering, web development, and the modern architectures of both software and data engineering. I can speak development frameworks, APIs, data tables, and ETL but don’t put me in charge of writing code :)
