In my role here at AXE Engineering, I focus on identifying areas of friction and opportunities to create workflow improvements. This ranges from researching, implementing, and fine-tuning organizational systems to managing all inbound leads and outbound marketing efforts. Some highlights of my work this year at include:-Identifying a need for an improved project management system to track in-bound requests for project proposals all the way through to project completion. I selected Monday.com to create an intake form on multiple platforms that automatically imports requests for proposals into our project tracker where. Within Monday, I adapted our natural workflow into a series of status triggered automations which guide inbound leads all the way from signed acceptance to the active projects queue, and further on throughout all the various stages to completion. This status tracking system allows anyone in our organization to see where each one of our projects is at and includes a complete journal client communications and milestones that occurred along the way.-Researching and implementing an improved timesheet system. I choose Clockify to help our engineers log their billable and non-billable time on projects which has streamlined client billing procedures as well as improved our team's ability to set hourly project budgets. Our project managers now get alerted when the estimated amount of hours for a their projects reach preset thresholds to maximize efficiency. -Researching and implementing a new VoIP phone system to streamline our inbound phone calls to the office and allowing our team to communicate with clients more effectively. -Working with various recruiting organizations to find the perfect candidate to expand our team with an new Professional Engineer/ Project Manager.

In my role as a field property claims adjuster, I worked with insured clients to collect information and clarify policy coverages to reach timely and accurate settlements. My role with COUNTRY was about 30% field investigation and 70% remote "desk adjusting" by utilizing virtual inspections and other creative means for acquiring critical facts of loss and processing them according to policy coverage. My local territory responsibility spanned over 100 miles (north to south) in 5 counties but I routinely desk adjusted claims throughout all of Washington, Idaho and a large portion of Oregon. This role allowed me to utilize my 13 years of experience as a water and fire damage restoration contractor in estimating losses and also reaching agreed scope and cost of projects with other contractors. Exceptional customer service was my primary goal in this position.

In my role as COO, I coordinated multiple division of the company to work together efficiently and effectively. I was responsible for streamlining workflows and rolling out new programs to synchronize daily operations and customer relationship management. My other area of responsibility included hiring, onboarding, creating and managing employee development programs, marketing and general business development and managing relationships with our clients and vendors. As part of my daily activities, I supervised department managers in the technical cleaning division and the emergency restoration divisions and worked directly with insurance adjusters to provide successful completion multiple construction related projects.
