I grew up surrounded by 3 things; cooking, books, and technology. To this day, I still love all of these things, they are a source of comfort, as well as lifelong interests.Testing new recipes and cooking for loved ones brings me joy. The steps in data science—data collection, data cleaning, feature engineering, and hyperparameter tuning—mirror the cooking process. Both involve a systematic approach that requires careful planning, experimentation, and adjustments to achieve the best results.Cooking doesn’t end once the ingredients are done; presentation is equally important. Inspired by my favorite authors and writers, I've fallen in love with weaving stories myself. People don’t connect with data points or methodologies—and they don’t have to. But a story is the difference between just another dot on the graph and a data-driven decision.My passion for statistical modeling, machine learning, and programming has led me to the Institute for Advanced Analytics, deepening my knowledge of data science.
