Managed teams ranging from 5 to 20 members each throughout my tenure, including the Foundational Services team (internal APIs), the Enterprise Architecture Group (which supervised patterns, software compliance and architecture across the bank), and the Cloud Program Management team (which handled digital transformation of applications to the cloud across the entire bank). Reported to the CTO of the DevOps/Enterprise Architecture group and the VP of Business Services/Operation.• Successfully led the Cloud Program's cloud migration project, with a budget exceeding $27 million. This involved strategic coordination and planning with hundreds of team members across multiple bank departments, including Digital, Lending, Deposits, and Data Insights. It included migrating 400+ applications utilizing VMware servers and converting dozens of AWS cloud-based applications utilizing Kubernetes, Ansible, and Terraform. • Routinely presented program progress to the bank’s CIO, CISO, and other VPs using data and dashboards in Jira.• Managed the SDLC compliance project for FDIC, which was merged into the Enterprise Architecture proposal process for all bank technical projects. Created technical documents, processes, and bank wide training for the SDLC.• Served as the product manager for various internal products, including a custom ETL API, a data validation and cleansing API, an address verification API, Event Streaming APIs for deposit information, and API design guidelines for use across all the bank’s technical teams. The APIs used technologies including Kafka, Apigee, ASP.NET Core, and were deployed internally on OpenShift or to Amazon Web Services using Elastic Kubernetes Service.

Managed a cross-functional team of full-stack cloud developers, SharePoint and ServiceNow administrators, project/program managers, and business analysts responsible for the company’s application development and cloud initiatives. Reported to the CIO and the Director of the PMO.• Executed technical program and product management in cloud, mobile, business intelligence, and application development for our suite of 30+ internal applications. Performed project management and hands on coding as required for any specific project.• Improved the company’s support process and speed of response for VIP business users by revising our incident management procedures. • Led the company’s digital transformation to the Microsoft Azure cloud for the application development group, which decreased costs and increased development speed across projects. This resulted in the adoption of Azure across other departments, including Operations and Accounting Information Systems.• Managed the company’s ServiceNow platform.

Led three teams consisting of local and offshore developers to maintain a biometric second factor authentication solution API and other custom applications. The solution used machine learning to train and authenticate the user based on interactive data like keystrokes, touch pressure, and location. • Traveled to India to collaborate with the offshore development team, where I conducted on-site project planning and development activities.• Provided hands-on training and mentorship to team members, including PhD physicists transitioning to development roles.• Code reviewed all code and enforced patterns and practices using static analysis tools like ReSharper and NDepend. Regularly refactored code with team members to reduce complexity.• Recovered, supported, and migrated the company from a legacy Java solution to dual stack .NET 4.5/Java Spring solution. The rewritten stacks both had a 70% decrease in overall code size from the legacy solution and were hosted on AWS and Microsoft Azure.• Architected the creation of a test lab around the company’s core patented algorithm, involving dependency injection to test changes in training data.
