I am a senior manufacturing professional with 22 years of experience in manufacturing, industrial controls, and information technology working for large global companies in the automotive industry. For the last 10 years, I have had both one leg in Operational Technologies (OT) and one leg in Information Technologies (IT). I started my career spending long days and nights in large manufacturing plants supporting new product launches and manufacturing operations. I have also worked as a manager of a large team of professional IT employees supporting global manufacturing operations and supply chain. Recently I have been a program leader working in our central corporate group trying to introduce and deploy Industry 4.0 and digital technologies across multiple complex and diverse business units in a common and standard way. I have many years experience working in a diverse global organizational environments. I have lived abroad for 7 years working for a large automotive manufacturer. I currently work with colleagues and suppliers all over the world, many time traveling for weeks at a time for planning sessions and projects (before COVID). This has helped me to develop a global mindset while working through complex problems that span multiple organizations and borders.
