I created and lead the Smart Dump project to bring data driven decision making to POWER Systems hardware state dump capture.- Partnered with our systems firmware team to incorporate the required analytics hooks into the system dump design.- Built a data analytics environment in Jupyter notebooks, Python pandas and Kibana to identify unused data and model run times of machine configurations.- Provide the internal tools to process and view system dumps, which are used throughout POWER Systems development.I also mentor new employees and consult/lend expertise on various projects in our area.

I led the creation of IBM's lab tools ecosystem for OpenPOWER.- Spearheaded open sourcing the internal eCMD hardware access API to foster the new ecosystem.- Created a comprehensive system bring-up and debug tool set for partners, leveraging both existing internal tools and new custom solutions.- Leveraged the new toolkit to improve our internal POWER System manufacturing process, for which I received a Major Outstanding Technical Achievement Award.
