I believe in a public library with quality and innovative services based on the needs of its community.I hold a master's degree in library science and have worked as a professional librarian since 2001. My library experience to date encompasses management in all functional areas of libraries, including circulation, collection development, and programming. I also have experience writing outcome-based planning and evaluation (OBPE) grants, drafting policy, and developing and implementing public library strategic and technology plans.I am most satisfied working in a dynamic, collaborative environment in which end users are provided with the best possible service.Staying abreast of the changing technology landscape, especially as it relates to libraries, is important to me. My ultimate goal is to enable the end user, whether it is a staff member or the public, to achieve high levels of productivity and satisfaction from any library service they may be utilizing.
